About Chophaus

Chophaus brings a modern steakhouse dining experience to the heart of Oakwood in Leeds. Perched on the edge of Roundhay Park just behind the historic Oakwood Clock, our stylish restaurant and bar is the perfect place to indulge.

Our premium beef and other prime cuts are all sourced locally from the established R&J Meats in Ripon, who have been supplying Yorkshire’s most prolific restaurants since 1978. All our steaks are bought and sold daily by weight rather than cut, ensuring a unique culinary experience each time you visit.

MATT KERRYWOOD - GENERAL MANAGER

Matt’s long and illustrious career in the hospitality industry has seen him work at some of Leeds best loved restaurants and bars, including Ibérica, La Casita and Malmaison.

Salvatore Cataldi - Restaurant Manager

During his 20-year plus career in the restaurant business, Salvatore has been responsible for managing some of the busiest and most iconic restaurants in Leeds, including Bibi’s and San Carlos Flying Pizza.

Tommy Rook - Head Chef

With a globe-trotting career that has seen him heading up Aiden Byrne’s coveted Church Green in Cheshire and the exclusive Batu Karang Lambongan Resort in Bali, Tommy brings some serious culinary chops to the table.
